Maximus Babke is only 18 years old, but the young keeper can draw on a wealth of experience. The talented goalkeeper has been training with FC Carl Zeiss Jena's licensed team for some time now, and he is gaining match practice in the club's U19 team. Babke is one of the jewels of the goalkeeping game in Jena. In the club and region, the positively crazy keeper enjoys a great standing.
The 185 cm. tall keeper began his career as a footballer in the classic "village club": FSV Grün-Weiß Stadtroda, before making the first big leap to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in 2014. At the Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld, Babke first learned the basic techniques of goalkeeping under professional conditions. Babke stayed in Jena for about four years before his talent, will and passion made him coveted on the big soccer stage. In the end, Maximus decided to move to the RB Leipzig soccer club. In Leipzig, Babke found tremendously developed structures. The move to RB Leipzig opened up new horizons for the young goalkeeper. Suddenly, everything felt very unreal. Already at RB Leipzig, Gripmode accompanied the athlete to peak performance.
CEO Michael Bolvin: "Maximus is a fine guy, he will go his way in professional soccer. We at Gripmode are strongly convinced of this, as we have been accompanying our talent for several years. Maximus' feedback on our products is very important to us, as he wears them in all weather conditions at peak performance."
In keeping with the club colors of FC Carl Zeiss Jena, Babke likes to wear the Aqua model.
"I am very, very satisfied with the gloves from Gripmode. The grip is very important to me, but also the cut. In addition, there is simply the great support around the subject of gloves. We are on the same wavelength and I am very proud to have Gripmode at my side," says Maximus Babke.
